Progress to Date:  Crews have finished realigning and patching 37th Avenue East at Crescent Ridge Road and opened both entrances to The Knoll. Crews have placed concrete for curb and gutter at the Arcadia Drive realignment. Curb, gutter and sidewalk have been placed along University Boulevard East from Windsor Drive to the former Jim Meyers Property.…

October 2, 2026 Roads Update

Progress: Crews have finished moving dirt and preparing the area between 4th Street and the Goodrich Spur railroad on Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard. Office trailers and construction equipment are now in place on-site.  Next Steps: Crews will begin driving piles. September 2026 Update

Progress to Date:  Crews have installed new storm drains throughout the Redmont Drive, Arcadia Drive and Crescent Ridge Road areas. Landscaping crews have begun constructing a new retaining wall on the south side of University Boulevard East and have added trees, shrubs and sod along the corridor.
