Progress:

Construction began on Monday May 4. Traffic control, wayfinding signage, and construction fencing was installed.  Demolition began in the Phase 1 work area, along with storm drainage, concrete curb, gutter and sidewalk installation. Spire has begun gas relocation.

Next Steps:

In the Phase 1 work area storm drainage, concrete curb, gutter and sidewalk/bay parking installation will continue. Spire will continue gas relocation.

Upcoming Impacts:

• Northbound traffic lanes (and parking) on Greensboro Avenue between Gary Fitts St. (6th St.) and University Boulevard will be closed. 
• Eastbound pedestrian traffic along the south side of University Boulevard has been detoured along the west side of Greensboro Avenue to Gary Fitts Street and east across Greensboro Avenue.
